Google Play

Buying a Google Play gift card for Austria adds prepaid euros to a Google account, and that credit pays for digital content in the Play Store. Google allocates Play balance by country, so an Austrian code is accepted only by an account whose Play country is set to Austria. Android users who would rather not attach a card to a store account reach for these codes, as do parents handing a fixed credit to a child and anyone looking for a small gift that is actually useful. The PIN is digital, so the purchase is complete within minutes of the payment going through.

Four euro values are held for Austria: 15, 25, 50 and 100 EUR. Each stands for the credit placed on the Google account, while the amount you pay for it is shown in the price table on this page. A modest value is enough for a single app or an in-app purchase; the larger values keep an account supplied for longer.

Important Region Notice

Region Lock Notice: This code is issued for Austria and redeems ONLY on a Google Play account whose country is Austria. Google matches the code to the account's Play country and rejects anything else, so check that setting before redeeming.

Delivery Information

The code is sent electronically once the payment has cleared, and it stays with the order inside your GameGiftHub account for future reference. Nothing is shipped, so there is no tracking number and nothing to wait for in the post. Play balance is not time-limited, so it can be redeemed now and used later. If Google declines the code, live chat can check the order against the error you were shown and explain the cause.
