Buy Xbox Gift Card for Hungary (HUF)

An Xbox gift card code for Hungary is Microsoft Store credit: the code carries a face value and the whole amount is added to a Microsoft account, where it pays for games, add-ons and in-game currency. The Hungary listing holds 7 values in HUF, from 1200 HUF to 14990 HUF, and redemption happens at redeem.microsoft.com.

What the Microsoft Balance Buys

What changes from buying a single game is the flexibility: the value sits as store credit and can cover apps, games, films, TV shows, add-ons or in-game currency, and in most countries or regions hardware such as Surface and Xbox accessories too. A Hungary code is credit at the store's prices, not a voucher for one product.

Values on This Page

Hungary carries 7 face values in HUF, from 1200 HUF to 14990 HUF: 1200 HUF, 2990 HUF, 4490 HUF, 5990 HUF, 6990 HUF, 12990 HUF and 14990 HUF. All 7 are in stock today, so the table on the listing can be ordered as shown. The family runs from a single value up to 12, so this sits in the middle of that range.

Those are the denominations Microsoft issues for HUF, not a price rule invented here, and the table on the listing carries the actual charge. The choice is simply how much credit to add: one step for a single item, a higher step when the purchase is bigger.

Which Account This Code Reloads

The rule that decides whether this code lands is the account's region, not the console. Microsoft's terms state that a card's currency can only be added to an account registered in a jurisdiction where that currency is official, that the balance is spent at participating stores in that jurisdiction, and that the balance cannot be converted into another currency. This listing is the Hungary card in HUF.

An account registered elsewhere needs the matching market instead, which is why the Italy listing and the Japan listing are separate pages. Checking the account's region before buying is the whole of it.

How to Redeem an Xbox Gift Card

Redemption runs on Microsoft's own pages, not through this store, and the steps are the same in every market:

1. Sign in at redeem.microsoft.com with the Microsoft account that should hold the balance.
2. Choose Redeem code and enter or paste the 25-character code from the order page.
3. Confirm, and Microsoft adds the full value to the account balance immediately.

On a console the same code is redeemed from the guide: press the Xbox button, open Store, choose Redeem and type the code. Microsoft's redeem page also notes that if the wrong code was bought, the retailer is the one to contact - support here is the same route.

Does the Balance Expire?

Microsoft's gift card terms are unusually clear on this point: non-promotional account balance does not expire, and there are no fees for keeping a balance. Promotional credit is the exception - it follows the terms of its own promotion, and it is spent before any other balance. For a Hungary account the practical reading is that the credit from this card waits until it is needed.

Delivery

Delivery is digital and automatic: the code is issued as soon as the payment is confirmed, normally within minutes, and it appears on the order page and in the inbox. Nothing ships, so there is no address to give, and no person releases the code by hand - which is why it can be stored and redeemed later rather than used on the spot.

Before You Buy

The account's country or region is the first thing worth confirming: this is the Hungary card in HUF, and Microsoft states that a currency can only be added to an account registered where it is official. After that, paste the 25-character code straight from the order page, and treat the balance as store credit rather than cash.
