Buy Xbox Gift Card for European Union (EUR)

The European Union listing sells an Xbox gift card for European Union: 8 values in EUR running from 5 EUR to 75 EUR, delivered as a code and redeemed to a Microsoft account rather than to a console profile. No player ID or gamertag detail is asked for at checkout.

What the Microsoft Balance Buys

Microsoft's own description of the balance is broad: Microsoft Store online, Windows and Xbox, downloads for apps, games, movies and TV shows, and in most countries also consoles and accessories. For a European Union account the practical effect is that the credit is spent across purchases, not consumed by one.

Values on This Page

European Union carries 8 face values in EUR, from 5 EUR to 75 EUR: 5 EUR, 10 EUR, 15 EUR, 20 EUR, 25 EUR, 30 EUR, 50 EUR and 75 EUR. All 8 are in stock today, so the table on the listing can be ordered as shown. The family runs from a single value up to 12, so this sits in the middle of that range.

Every step is denominated in EUR and added to the account at the value printed on it, so the figures above are the card's own design. Availability moves per step, which is why the table on the listing is worth reading before picking a figure.

Which Account This Code Reloads

The rule that decides whether this code lands is the account's region, not the console. Microsoft's terms state that a card's currency can only be added to an account registered in a jurisdiction where that currency is official, that the balance is spent at participating stores in that jurisdiction, and that the balance cannot be converted into another currency. This listing is the European Union card in EUR.

An account registered elsewhere needs the matching market instead, which is why the France listing and the Hong Kong listing are separate pages. Checking the account's region before buying is the whole of it.

How to Redeem an Xbox Gift Card

Redemption runs on Microsoft's own pages, not through this store, and the steps are the same in every market:

1. Sign in at redeem.microsoft.com with the Microsoft account that should hold the balance.
2. Choose Redeem code and enter or paste the 25-character code from the order page.
3. Confirm, and Microsoft adds the full value to the account balance immediately.

On a console the same code is redeemed from the guide: press the Xbox button, open Store, choose Redeem and type the code. Microsoft's redeem page also notes that if the wrong code was bought, the retailer is the one to contact - support here is the same route.

Does the Balance Expire?

Does the balance run out? Microsoft states that non-promotional balance does not expire and that holding it costs nothing; only promotional credit carries an expiry tied to its promotion, and that is deducted first. A European Union buyer therefore gains shelf life, not a deadline, which is the main difference from the PIN-style products elsewhere in this store.

Delivery

Nothing is posted. The code is generated and shown the moment payment clears, usually within minutes, on the order page and in the inbox, and because no manual step is involved it can be redeemed whenever the buyer is ready. Keeping it in the order history also means it can be re-read exactly as issued.

Before You Buy

Three checks settle most problems before they start. Confirm the Microsoft account's country or region is European Union, since Microsoft ties each currency to accounts registered where it is official and does not convert balances. Check the code is 25 characters before pasting it. And keep the code on the order page rather than a photo, so it can be re-read exactly if the first entry is refused.
