Valorant VP Canada: Codes and Redemption

This page is the Canada corner of the Valorant VP family — the codes Riot calls cash codes, sold as prepaid cards that load premium currency onto a VALORANT account. It carries 3 face values, 10 CAD up to 50 CAD. Buyers in Canada get their own page because Riot's region rule ties each code to the market it was issued for, and this post explains that rule alongside the redemption path, the stock position and what to do if a code is refused.

What the Canada Listing Carries

What the Canada listing carries right now: 3 face values, 10 CAD to 50 CAD, in CAD.

• Face values: 10 CAD, 25 CAD and 50 CAD — copied from the listing itself, in CAD.
• Delivery: one prepaid code, issued automatically after payment and redeemed on your own Riot account.
• Nothing else to fill in: no Riot ID, player ID or password is asked for — this is a code product.

Availability on the Canada page is clean: nothing above is sold out, so all 3 values are selectable right now. The list is driven by live stock rather than a cached figure.

What VP Is and What the Code Does

What it is: a cash code, which Riot describes as granting "premium currency for Riot's games (RP, VP, etc.)" — VP once it is redeemed on a VALORANT account. What it is not: a top-up applied by a third party, because nothing is collected here beyond the order. Riot's "One Code, One Game, One Use" rule means the whole value loads the single game chosen at redemption — it can never be split between games or between accounts. Riot also states that cash codes never expire.

Why the Region Rule Decides the Purchase

Region decides usability, and the rule is Riot's rather than this store's: a cash code is only redeemable in the region where it was purchased. The Canada listing is the family's page for that market, which is why its value set differs from the Europe and Hong Kong pages — each market's codes carry what they carry.

How to Redeem the Code

Redemption happens on Riot's side:

1. On the redemption page: open shop.riotgames.com/redeem, enter the code exactly as it appears — no spaces — and select Redeem Code.
2. Sign in and pick the game: log in to the account that should receive the VP and choose VALORANT — a grey title means the account has never played it.
3. Confirm: check the balance the code adds, then confirm — the VP lands instantly, though Riot notes rare cases taking up to 24 hours.
4. In the client instead: the same route sits inside VALORANT — the icon beside your VP balance, then Prepaid Cards & Codes; some regions ask for a consent box.
5. If it is refused: message live chat with the order number instead of retrying; Riot's fixes are a retype without spaces, a seller-activated card, or a 24-hour wait.

How the Code Reaches You

Delivery is digital and automatic: the code is issued the moment payment is confirmed, normally within minutes, and appears on the order page and in the inbox. Nothing is posted and no Riot account is touched from this store — which is also why Riot states that cash codes never expire, so the code can wait until the account is ready. Checkout shows the payment methods for your country, and live chat works from the order number.

Before You Buy

What to settle before checkout: the values above are this market's own — 10 CAD, 25 CAD and 50 CAD — and the receiving account must be on the matching server, since a cash code redeems only where it was purchased. Nothing is collected beyond the order: no Riot password and no player ID pass through this store. Riot states that cash codes never expire, so the code can wait.

Buy Valorant VP in Canada

The Canada page carries the 3 options above with the code issued automatically after payment, so the purchase is normally finished within minutes. Order the Valorant VP Canada listing for an account on Canada's server; if a different market is needed, the Europe page and the Hong Kong page are the family's other options.
