Buy a Steam Wallet Gift Card for Colombia

Buying Steam Wallet credit for Colombia comes down to picking a value and redeeming the code on the account that should hold the balance. The ladder on this page runs from 20,500 to 205,000 Colombian pesos across 5 steps, and delivery is digital and automatic. What makes Steam different from most gift cards is what happens at redemption: the balance is credited in your wallet's own currency.

Face Values on This Page

Every value on the page right now: 5 steps in Colombian pesos, starting at 20,500.

• 20,500 Colombian pesos
• 41,000 Colombian pesos
• 82,000 Colombian pesos
• 123,000 Colombian pesos
• 205,000 Colombian pesos

Five steps from 20,500 to 205,000 Colombian pesos, spaced in multiples of 20,500 and 41,000.

If the amount falls between two steps, take the lower one and add a second card later, or the higher one if the next purchase is already planned. The balance is not tied to one game.

Which Account This Is For

Colombia is the family's only COP listing, so its ladder stands alone among the peso and sol listings around it — Colombian pesos are a different currency from the Chilean, Mexican or Uruguayan ones. Steam's rule for the code is the same here as everywhere: redeem it signed in, and the value is converted to the currency your Steam wallet is held in.

What the Balance Pays For

Steam describes a gift card or wallet code as working "just like gift certificates": the balance can be redeemed on Steam for the purchase of games, software, and any other item you can purchase on Steam. It is wallet credit, not a game key, so it applies to whatever is in the cart today. Steam also notes that a code is converted to the currency of your Steam Wallet upon redemption, regardless of where it was purchased — which is why the value lands in your wallet's own currency rather than the one printed on the page you bought from.

How to Redeem

1. Sign in to the Steam account that should receive the balance — Steam requires you to be logged in to redeem a wallet code.
2. Open the Redeem a Steam Gift Card or Wallet Code page in the Steam client or on the store site.
3. Enter the code exactly as it was delivered and confirm.
4. The value is credited to your Steam Wallet immediately and shows in your account's balance.

Delivery

The code is digital: it appears on your order page and in your inbox automatically once payment is confirmed, normally within minutes, and nothing is shipped. Being a wallet code it carries a face value in Colombian pesos, and it stays usable until you redeem it. If anything looks wrong, message live chat with the order number and the exact message on your screen.

Before You Buy

• You have to be signed in to a Steam account to redeem a wallet code.
• Steam states that a gift card or wallet code is converted to the currency of your Steam Wallet upon redemption, regardless of where it was purchased.
• The balance is wallet credit rather than a game key, so it applies to whatever is in the cart.
• This listing's customer note confirms the code can be safely stored and redeemed later.
• Nothing is sent to Steam until you redeem the code, so when to credit the balance is your decision.

One practical point about buying for someone else: the code is not tied to a name until it is redeemed, so it can be handed over as a gift and redeemed on whichever Steam account enters it. Steam's requirement is simply that the account redeeming it is signed in, and the value is then converted into that wallet's own currency.
