Gold, Artcoins or Dollars in Modern Warships?
Modern Warships: Naval Battles runs three balances plus a Premium Account, and they are not interchangeable. Here is which one funds which purchase, and where the timed Premium entries fit.
Three Balances, Three Jobs
Modern Warships: Naval Battles is one of the games where the currencies are deliberately separate, which is why topping up the wrong one is a real risk rather than a technicality. Gold, Artcoins and Dollars each fund a different part of the game, and the Premium Account entries are a fourth thing entirely. The Modern Warships top-up listing carries all four on one page, so the first useful step is deciding which purchase you are actually making.
What Gold Is For
Gold is the balance most upgrades draw on, and it is why the ladder runs from five hundred up to twelve thousand. If the thing you want is a ship on the tech tree or better modules on one you already own, Gold is usually the entry to buy, and the size depends on how far along you are. Because the tiers step up steeply, buying the smaller size twice is a reasonable choice if you want to spread the cost rather than commit to a large pack.
Where Artcoins Fit
Artcoins are the premium side of the same ladder. They are what the offers outside the ordinary progression path tend to ask for, which makes them the entry for a limited ship or a bundle rather than a routine upgrade. A small amount of Artcoins goes a long way compared with Gold, so the lower tiers - three hundred and six hundred and fifty - are the ones most orders start at. If you are unsure, Gold is the safer refill and Artcoins the more specific purchase.
Dollars and the Large Tiers
Dollars exist in much larger numbers than the other two, and the tiers run into the millions, which tells you they are consumed in much larger quantities. That makes them the balance to buy when a routine cost has drained you rather than when you are saving toward something specific. The jump between the tiers is big, so picking the middle rather than the top is usually enough to clear a stretch of play without leaving a large idle balance.
The Premium Account Entries
The Premium Account entries are not a balance at all - they are a timed boost, sold here in seven-day and thirty-day versions. What makes them worth considering is that time from an order is added on top of whatever remains on the account when it is delivered, so buying before the current period lapses loses you nothing. If your priority is rewards per session rather than a single purchase, this is the entry that compounds; if your priority is one specific ship, Gold is the direct route.
Region and Delivery
This listing covers the Global version of the game, the build served outside any separate regional release. The Player ID you enter has to belong to an account on that Global version; an ID from another build will not receive the delivery. Checkout asks for the Player ID only - no password, no email address and no login - and because the delivery follows that ID, it should be copied from your in-game profile.
What to Check Before You Pay
Confirm the Player ID, then confirm which of the four you are buying: Gold, Artcoins, Dollars or Premium Account time. They are not convertible after delivery, so the wrong pick means a second order rather than a fix. Entries that run out of stock are shown as unavailable on the page rather than sold and then cancelled. If you have other games to top up this week, the CATS top-up uses the same balance-and-part pattern and the Undawn top-up has a comparable pack ladder.
