Buy a Google Play Gift Card for Turkey

A Turkey Google Play gift card is store credit for the Turkish Play Store, issued in lira and delivered as a code to your order page and inbox. It loads Google Play balance, which the Turkish store spends on apps, games, in-app purchases, books and subscriptions, without a bank card on the account. The code is generated automatically once the payment is confirmed, normally within minutes. Turkey is a separate store region that prices in lira, so the card belongs to an account whose country is set to Turkey — and the currency is the part that catches people out, because the ladder here stretches into four figures.

Denominations on This Page

Six denominations are listed, running from 25 lira to 1,000 lira — 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000. Those are the card's own face values in lira and the amount credited to the balance, while the price of each sits in this page's table. The nominal size of a card follows the currency it is issued in rather than the value it represents, which is why a figure like 1,000 appears in a ladder that ends far below the equivalent in euro or pounds.

Which Country This Card Is For

The Turkish store runs in Turkish and prices in lira, so cards issued for the euro, dollar or yen stores belong to different regions and will not redeem on a Turkish account. The account's country setting is what Google checks when the code is entered, and a match means the balance is spendable in the Turkish store. The usual limits follow from that: redeemed balance does not move if the account's Play country changes later, and cards and prepaid balance are not refundable or transferable unless the law in the country of issue requires it.

What You Can Buy With a Play Balance

• Apps and games sold through the Turkish Play Store, paid straight from the balance.
• In-app purchases — currency packs, passes and levels — bought through the store rather than with a foreign card.
• Subscriptions billed through the Turkish Play Store, where Google's country terms allow balance to cover them.
• Books, films and TV shows in the countries where the Play Store sells them.
• Leftover credit that stays on the account for the next purchase instead of expiring.

How to Redeem

1. Sign in to the Google account that should receive the balance.
2. Open play.google.com/redeem, paste the code and select Redeem.
3. In the Play app, tap your profile picture, open Payments & subscriptions and choose Redeem code.
4. At checkout you can also open the payment-method list and pick Redeem code instead of a card.
5. Confirm the account shown, and the credit is added immediately.

Delivery

The code is digital: it appears on your order page and in your inbox automatically once the payment is confirmed, normally within minutes. Nothing is shipped and there is no plastic card in the post — what arrives is a code for the Turkish Play Store, in lira. If anything looks wrong with it, message live chat with the order number and the exact message on your screen, and we will check the order against it rather than asking you to guess.

Before You Buy

• The account's country has to be Turkey — Google checks that when the code is entered.
• Gift-card balance cannot be used as a family payment method.
• Redeemed balance does not move if the account's Play country changes later.
• The code is normally a 16-digit combination of numbers and letters.
