Buy an App Store & iTunes Gift Card for Kazakhstan

Ferdousur RahmanSep 29, 20264 min read88 views

The Kazakhstan App Store & iTunes gift card is a code carrying a face value in tenge, and this listing holds 4 of them, 2,000 to 10,000. Here is what the ladder contains today, which storefront the code belongs to, what Apple Account balance can pay for, and the redemption steps Apple itself publishes.

This is the Kazakhstan listing of the App Store & iTunes family: 4 face values in tenge, from 2,000 to 10,000, issued as a code rather than a card. After redemption the amount sits as Apple Account balance, which pays for App Store purchases and subscriptions without a bank card on the account. Apple ties each code to the storefront it was issued for, and that is what this post explains.

Face Values on This Page

Values on the Kazakhstan page right now: 4 steps in tenge, starting at 2,000.

2,000 tenge
3,000 tenge
5,000 tenge
10,000 tenge

Four steps: 2,000, 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 tenge. The ladder is short and each step is well separated.

If the amount falls between two steps, either take the lower one and add a card later, or take the higher one if the next purchase is already planned. Balance is general store credit, not locked to one title.

Availability: all 4 steps on this listing are marked out of stock today, so nothing on this page can be ordered at the moment. The ladder above is what returns when stock does, and the sibling listings linked at the end of this post are the alternatives in the meantime.

Which Country This Card Is For

Kazakhstan prices in tenge and is the family's only KZT listing, with the shortest ladder here after Hong Kong and Luxembourg — four steps spanning 2,000 to 10,000 tenge. Tenge is the domestic currency, so a rouble or rouble-adjacent card is not a substitute at redemption. The code is issued for the Kazakhstani storefront and redeems on an Apple Account whose country or region is Kazakhstan.

Apple's rule is short: a gift card cannot be redeemed outside the country or region of purchase. Apple describes the symptom as the message Code must be redeemed in a different country or region.

What the Balance Pays For

Apps, games and in-app purchases from the App Store.
Music, films and more from the iTunes Store, the Apple TV app or Apple Books.
Subscriptions such as Apple Music, Apple Arcade and Apple TV, plus app subscriptions.
iCloud+, Apple's premium cloud subscription.

Two limits: some purchases still need a credit card on file, and Family Sharing members cannot spend your balance — it is yours alone.

How to Redeem

Find the 16-digit code that begins with X — on a physical card it sits under the peel-off or scratch-off label.
Open the App Store, tap your photo, your initials or the My Account button, then tap Redeem Code. You may be asked to sign in.
Tap Use Camera, or Enter Code Manually if the camera will not read the code. On a Mac, click your name in the App Store sidebar and choose Redeem Code.
Confirm and tap or click Redeem — the balance lands on your Apple Account and shows in your account details.

Delivery

The code is digital: it appears on your order page and in your inbox automatically once payment is confirmed, normally within minutes, and nothing is shipped. What arrives is a 16-digit code for the Kazakhstani App Store in tenge. If anything looks wrong with it, message live chat with the order number and the exact message on your screen.

Before You Buy

The account's country or region has to be Kazakhstan, because Apple checks the storefront at redemption.
A gift card cannot be redeemed outside the country or region of purchase — that is Apple's rule, not ours.
If Apple answers that the card has already been redeemed, sign out of the App Store on all devices and sign back in to refresh the balance view.
If it answers that the card is not activated, the code was not activated by the seller — that is a retailer problem, not an account problem.
