Buy an App Store & iTunes Gift Card for Finland

Ferdousur RahmanSep 29, 20264 min read87 views

The Finland App Store & iTunes gift card is a code carrying a face value in euro, and this listing holds 22 of them, 2 to 250. Here is what the ladder contains today, which storefront the code belongs to, what Apple Account balance can pay for, and the redemption steps Apple itself publishes.

This is the Finland listing of the App Store & iTunes family: 22 face values in euro, from 2 to 250, issued as a code rather than a card. After redemption the amount sits as Apple Account balance, which pays for App Store purchases and subscriptions without a bank card on the account. Apple ties each code to the storefront it was issued for, and that is what this post explains.

Which Country This Card Is For

Finland is one of eleven euro listings in this family, and its card is issued for the Finnish storefront rather than for the eurozone as a whole. That is the distinction Apple enforces at redemption: the code is accepted on an Apple Account whose country or region is Finland, while the same amount bought for Germany, Austria or the Netherlands is not.

The message that decides everything here is the one Apple documents as Code must be redeemed in a different country or region — a code bought for one storefront is not spendable on another, and Apple's own example is a card bought in France refusing to redeem in the United States.

What the Balance Pays For

Apps, games and in-app purchases from the App Store.
Music, films and more from the iTunes Store, the Apple TV app or Apple Books.
Subscriptions such as Apple Music, Apple Arcade and Apple TV, plus app subscriptions.
iCloud+, Apple's premium cloud subscription.

Two limits: some purchases still need a credit card on file, and Family Sharing members cannot spend your balance — it is yours alone.

How to Redeem

Find the 16-digit code that begins with X — on a physical card it sits under the peel-off or scratch-off label.
Open the App Store, tap your photo, your initials or the My Account button, then tap Redeem Code. You may be asked to sign in.
Tap Use Camera, or Enter Code Manually if the camera will not read the code. On a Mac, click your name in the App Store sidebar and choose Redeem Code.
Confirm and tap or click Redeem — the balance lands on your Apple Account and shows in your account details.

Delivery

The code is digital: it appears on your order page and in your inbox automatically once payment is confirmed, normally within minutes, and nothing is shipped. What arrives is a 16-digit code for the Finnish App Store in euro. If anything looks wrong with it, message live chat with the order number and the exact message on your screen.

Before You Buy

The account's country or region has to be Finland, because Apple checks the storefront at redemption.
A gift card cannot be redeemed outside the country or region of purchase — that is Apple's rule, not ours.
If Apple answers that the card has already been redeemed, sign out of the App Store on all devices and sign back in to refresh the balance view.
If it answers that the card is not activated, the code was not activated by the seller — that is a retailer problem, not an account problem.

One Apple detail worth having before you order: the redemption code is the 16-digit number beginning with X, not another number printed on the card, and Apple does not sell gift cards in every country or region — which is why this family carries a separate listing per storefront rather than one card for everyone.
